Step 1. Login to the blogger using your blogger login id
Step 3. Go to extreme end of the page and click on Backup/Restore Template link
Step 4. Backup the current template. This is very important so you can always go back (click on the screenshot to the left to see exactly how this is done).
Step 5. Browse for the new template xml and press upload button
How to edit HTML (Editor) on new blogger interface?
Step 1. Login to the blogger using your blogger login id
Step 2. Click on template link on the left hand side of the blogger page

Step 5. Click on Edit Template link and this will open the HTML window. Make necessary changes to the HTML and click on Save Template button.
